S. M. Equipment Electric Plate Compactor is designed to deliver high compaction performance for soil, gravel, sand and other granular materials. Powered by a strong 3 HP, 3 Phase electric motor, this machine ensures efficient, reliable and low maintenance operation on every job site.
The electric motor rotates the eccentric weights mounted on the vibrating assembly. This generates high frequency vibrations which are transferred to the base plate and compact the surface by reducing air voids between particles, increasing density and stability of the ground. With a 1.5 feet x 2 feet plate, shock absorbing mounting and an operator-friendly handle, it gives smooth handling and strong compaction for continuous use.
