S. M. Equipment MMA 280 is an IGBT Inverter Welding Machine used for Arc Welding (Manual Metal Arc Welding). It uses electrodes to join two metal parts by melting the electrode and base metal to form a strong and durable weld. Built with IGBT inverter technology, the MMA 280 delivers high efficiency and energy saving, a stable arc with less spatter, and smooth welding on all types of electrodes from 1.6 mm to 5.0 mm. How Does It Work?
1. Connect: Connect the earth clamp to the workpiece and the electrode holder to the machine.
2. Power On: Switch on the machine and set the required current as per the electrode size.
3. Weld: Strike the arc by touching the electrode on the metal surface and start welding.
